Another leaker

Had the back window replaced on my 2019 on 6/21 because it was leaking. The dealer replaced it with upgraded model. Well, it was raining on Sunday, it was leaking in both corners. Made an appointment to be looked at next Monday, they said it had an 2yr/24k warranty (out of warranty). I'll bring a copy of TSB 23-098-23 and see what happens.

I did, it's not listed and my truck is a 2019. Do you have a copy of the extended warranty? RAM Cares, why is my 2019 not covered?

Ramcares isn't going to know why your truck isn't included in the extension. Mine isn't either and it's a 2020. It's funny the 2021 I used to own is included. Hopefully Stellantis will correct this problem that seems to have to do with sales codes attached to VIN numbers.

That's weird too, because mine has the right sales codes. Anyone know how to get this fixed? I don't want pay for a back window that is covered because Ram can't get the right data in their computer system.

You can possibly get a good will repair from your dealership. Reach out to @RamCares and work with your dealership.

I have the extended warranty and the window sticker with powered back window on it. I'm going to work with my dealer to get this fixed in the computer. This will be the 3rd back window in less than 5 years. I'm not paying out pocket for this one or the next one in 2 1/2 years.

I am dealing with this very issue right now. My 2020 Bighorn 5.7 Hemi is at my local dealership right now. I brought up TSB: 23-098-23 (pulled it off the other post you started), and they said it's VIN specific and mine isn't covered. I ran the VIN using your link on the Mopar website and same story. Not listed. So I guess my truck will set at the dealership while I wait on Ram Cares to contact me. They gave me a case number, but at this point, unless they step in and cover the replacement, I will be out a little over $1700 for a problem Ram should fix on their dime.

I am happy to report that Ram Cares stepped in and covers the cost of the rear window replacement. I still have to wait a week before I can wash it so the sealant can cure properly. It is also not list on me that this was a freebee, and the next one will be on me. After reading other owners replacing the back glass 2-3 times, I have made up my mind to seek out an aftermarket glass dealer and have a solid back window put it. A power sliding rear window is something I can live without. For right now though the new glass isn’t leaking, and I have my fingers crossed that it stays that way.

For all the leakers ,that solid looks like a real good thing. I’m old now and want air conditioning, ive had plenty of wind thru my hair over the years .
