Another new guy

Good day all, just a quick intro before I become a lurker with the intent to learn. Bought my '03 Ram 1500 about 2 weeks ago, and already have grand plans for its future life with me to include: a solid axle swap, more aggressive tires, a new front bumper, a camper shell, and maybe some engine upgrades, just not sure what yet. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Emergency Services Administration, and am currently serving in the military as a Field Artilleryman. I've been married 6 years, with 1 kid currently. My current (and future) use for the truck is my DD, the towing rig as my job requires me to move, and my back country exploration steed. Eventually I'd love to upgrade to a newer generation Ram when we can afford it.

While here, I'm hoping to learn everything I can about the truck, and maybe help a few others along the way. Have a great day!
