Have a 2005 1500 Laramie 4x4, 5.7L since 2007 @ 21k & now at 240k miles one of my kids driving it now.
A week ago I picked up a 2013 1500 Laramie 4x4 5.7L w/127k but it’s not been serviced (if ever) as I would have…. Already changed rear diff, front diff & transfer case. The BW44-44 seemed like a crap shoot on what to use so I ended up with valvoline multi vehicle transfer case fluid for now.
Currently working on the 8spd ZF transmission pan service but still have questions. Such as “what needs to be level” the frame or the actual pan? I’ve seen both but nothing definitive…. If it’s the pan I’m running out of jack stand height!
Trying to get this one going for another daughter too. So any direction on these things will be greatly appreciated!
