Any interest at all in carbon fiber hoods?

I'm talking with a company in Canada about making stock style hoods in carbon fiber, fully finished on top and bottom and no hood pins required.
They won't be cheap. I'm waiting on pricing for a 1-off but it would likely drop for multiple units.
VIS already makes SRT10 and Sport style hoods...those are made in China and run about 1400 bucks....I'd expect pricing on these to be similar.
I'm talking to them about making the center "cowl" part another inch higher to look more like a standard cowl induction style hood too.

If anyone is interested and can actually pay up front let me know and I'll pass on the info.

Unbroken, I was actually looking at the VIS hood for my truck. A local buddy of mine has it and fitment is spot on.
But interested to see what you can swing.....let me know details as I'm in the market for a new hood

I am really interested in this, I would really need to see photos of one before I put down that kind of money.
Depending on how far you are, I am interested in driving and meeting up somewhere to see this and maybe buy one and install it.

I'm just starting to talk to the guys now...no idea when something would be actually finished.
They would have to make the mold and start from scratch. I'm just trying to get something made that I want and thought I'd throw it out to see if anyone else is interested....more units generally equals less cost.
I talked to VIS too...all their manufacturing is overseas and they would require 20 pre-paid orders to even think about building one.

I'll update as I get any info....but right now it's just in the talking stages.

The Vis on my Car needs Pins as the Air coming in above 70 starts to lift it up but with the Aero Pin (one for now I'm Good). Hope it works out Guys.
