My only complaint with the 2016 2500 I bought new is that the radio, fan, lights, etc. all come on with the start button in the run position or if I use the remote start. There have been a few times when I hit the remote start button on the fob and go outside expecting the truck to be warmed up and instead find that the battery did not have enough power to start the truck but the radio is blaring and the fan is blowing, ensuring my already weak battery is stone cold dead. Twice I have been unable to salvage the battery with a charger after this happens. I buy the biggest battery I can find. Last one was $230.
There is nothing in the Settings menu to address this. Can the dealer do anything? I had a guy install a remote started in my Chrysler recently and noticed he was able to change a bunch of settings that were not in the on-screen menu. Wondering if my Ram has other settings too.
