Evening my Ram brethren. I am wanting to buy an under back seat storage compartment. I want to get rid of the cardboard box I have now that rides in the middle behind the console (just tacky). Rough country has one for my model and I'm sure there are others out there. The Rep said I might would have to trim my rear floor mat? I have Husky floor mats front and back and don't want the storage box to not make the seat uneven or not fully seat down on top of the box. Perfect fit is what I'm wanting along with good quality. My Ram is the crew cab Lonestar. I would like to hear from anyone who has an under back seat storage, thoughts, brand, part number etc. By the way, really like this Ram forum and am glad to be a member. Drive loud and proud ya'll .

If you are handy with a saw, and don’t need a secure box, here is a quick cheap fix. I bought a piece of 2x5” pine board, (plywood would work as well) and cut a length to fit the width of the seat. Put 2 shorter boarders (8-10” tapered on the end to fit the floor)on each end of the board secured with a 90deg bracket. The length of these end pieces is flexible depending on how far out into the floor you want storage. Drill 2 small holes in the end pieces and put a screw into the side trim to keep it secure. It works great. 2 screws and it’s out, and everything is held in place, out of sight and easily to pull out and use in your next ride.

@jc56berg So how did you make out finding the storage tray you were looking for?
Ordered the Husky under seat storage on May 1st. Delrvery was for 5/15 then moved to 5/26 then moved to 6/1. Called Summit, they call Husky and Husky's response is ship on July 19th. They (Husky) are waiting on their supplier? Their site says "designed and manufactured in Lawrenceville GA facility. Says it fits perfect with Husky mats (mats sold separately)...I like the way they throw that part in. This will come direct from Husky I was told by the Summit rep. On the bright side I have seen where companies and Husky have raised their prices on this item about $16-$24 since I purchased mine. So, just waiting for it to be shipped. I will post pics IF it ever gets here. Already paid for. Maybe its sitting on a ship out on the straits of Hormuz.

Man D/T your handy as a pocket on a shirt. :peace: I've already paid for the item tho so I'll just wait. Prices on all have gone up since my order about 16-24 dollars.

Yes, Summit P/N HUS-09421. I have an e-mail from Summit and printed receipt for purchase. I won't get a tracking # until it ships, untill it comes from supplier ?....I am to be notified when it ships from Husky. I haven't received anything from Husky direct. Summit asked if I wanted to cancel with full refund but I want the item.

Well, finally I got a reply from Summit on the under-seat storage for my Ram. E-mail says "on or near" July 27th. and will come from Husky direct. I ordered this May 1st. Funny thing while watching a few of the FIFA games I bet on (actually made a few bucks to cover the cost) there were Summit commercials and they showed the big Summit warehouse in Dallas and hawked fast shipping. Oh well, good things are worth the wait. Hope all of ya'll are beating the heat, floods, wildfires...ect.

Well after 85 days after ordering it today the under rear seat storage for my Ram from Husky arrived. Anyone need a two bedroom box to live in? IMG_0742[1].JPG
