Anyone ever install in floor rear storage?

I have a 2018 express quad cab. Does this truck possibly have the outline area already there and all that could be needed is some carpet cutting and installing of the bins? Or would this be a hack job of cutting the floor up needing to weld pieces and so on?
Just curious because I’m a fan of the storage idea and would love them.

I don't think you would have the room to open the lid with the seat down and the front seat set back. On the passenger side the exhaust might be in the way. Wish I could measure it for you but my truck is not with me at this moment.

Old post but did you figure it out? I had cutouts under my truck where the floor bins go. They just had plates screwed on to cover them. It was an easy install.
