Been fighting issues with this pickup, old 545rfe lost od, and i replaced it with a used one with 160k on it, new atf4 oil, new filters, but 1 st gear wont pull its **** up and out of the hole. My torque converter slipage in 1st floored is only 312 rpm, seems on the lower side to me. My Cando scanner confirmed it is hitting all gears and i did have an evap code, which i fixed with a new hose, and a o2 lean code 2098 which will be fixed tomorrow. It just acts like my converter is too tight, let me know what to check next thank you!

did you preform a re learn with a scantool? also 160k on a used trans is a massive gamble. Have you confirmed engine running good no misfires ect? Is it throwing any dtc's for the trans?

I guess you gave old trans as core? If not did you verify there was any clutch issue? Usually when 545 loses OD it is very fixable. Still have old trans in garage? Relearn for sure a must.

I still have the old trans, it was only producing 3 psi for c2 clutch fill, but this low rpm take off was the same with it, but now the rest of the transmission shift better with replacement
