Hey Guys. I will be running Morimoto bulbs. Just have to decide on which ballast to run. I want the most reliable one I can get. But don't want to purchase the Morimoto ballast. Everything I read shows that both of these companies offer an error-free experience. Also, the Innovited is half the price of the ddm. Not sure if its worth paying double. Any help is appreciated.

Been running innovited 55w going on 4 months with no issues. I used alfaobd to enable the hid which I suggest doing instead of relays.

So i just went the ddm route, 35w ultra ballasts and 5500k ultra bulbs. I did not like the color, too blue for me.
I switched to 45w hylux ballasts, definitely a better quality ballasts between waterproofing and fit and finish. I ordered morimoto 5500k bulbs and those also are much better quality, i expect ill see them perform better once installed.
So i say for not really much more run hylux ballasts and morimoto bulbs. Change setting with alphaobd instead of running canbus setup.

Have been running the ddm canbus plus kit for 4 years now, all crammed inside the headlight with zero issues not even a burned out bulb

I have the DDM Tuning (9006) 35w 5500k HIDs and they were running strong with no issues. I had them in only a few months but I pulled them as I changed out headlights, so they’re just sitting in my garage waiting for a new home.

Great bang for your buck.

My eyes are sensitive to blue light, i just cant see good with it. I could have tried a lower kv but for a few bucks more id rather have hylux/morimoto. Driverside bulb also has less of a hot spot.
This is ddm b4 i swapped to hylux ballast

You can’t go wrong with hylux. I’ve had Morimoto and innovated 35w, hylux 35w and now hylux 45w. If I had it to do again, hylux would be my only choice.

Morimoto I went through 2 ballasts one a couple of months, and the 3rd went out after 1.5 years. Hylux 35w still running strong after 1.5 years. Bought am innovited kit, bulbs were trash, ballasts worked but were under powered. Switched to 45w hylux amd I doubt I’ll use another ballast ever.

I've run DDM hid canbus on my stock projectors for over a year now. Work perfectly. Also, they have lifetime warranty on the parts. Plus there is a DDM store 1 mile from me if I ever have a problem. Recommended.
