anyone know of a chrome kit for a 2500 6.4?

anybody know where i can get a chrome kit for a 6.4 2500? i cant seem to locate one on the internet.

ive seen a few people with some dress up pieces that go over the valve covers most i believe are painted

ive seen a few people with some dress up pieces that go over the valve covers most i believe are painted
trying to stay away from painting them. i saw they make fuel rails and plenums for a JGC and Challenger but nothing for a ram.

Chrome to tends keep thing’s hot, not don’t correctly makes them tend to become brittle and adds weight to pieces. Unless it’s a show truck I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lol, well there you go!
i guess your rite haha. strictly for show purposes only, and an occasional sunday drive. but finding a chrome kit is the problem though haha. i think im gonna pull the parts off and have them plated if i cant find a kit. i dont want one of the old chevy 350 kits thats all plastic and cheap.

The valve covers are basically plastic to start with,lol.Just razzing ya,lol:gr_grin:.If do you get them plated make sure you post a few pics,some of us older guys still think chrome looks good,even though it won't get you home,lol:waytogo:

They do have a painting process now that they can paint practical anything with a chrome finish in any color. It’s done with a two stage chemical and water I believe and it’s flexible. Do some research you should be able to find a link on google. Let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll dig through some of my old links.

They do have a painting process now that they can paint practical anything with a chrome finish in any color. It’s done with a two stage chemical and water I believe and it’s flexible. Do some research you should be able to find a link on google. Let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll dig through some of my old links.
i found the process, cant find anyone local who does it though. may have to ship it out

I just don't see a whole lot on this engine and engine bay that screams chrome. Maybe the support brackets. There is however lots of surface area covered in plastic that could be air brushed or hydrodipped with a cool theme. Maybe pre 2019 engine bays are different.

nope, mine is similar. may look into hydro dipping now that you mention it.
