It looks "aftermarket" and possibly for an alarm system ?

I don’t think it has any alarm system that I am aware of. But it does have a factory remote start

That looks like a hood switch, like the kind that disables the remote start when the hood is up for safety (which factory ones do).

Yeah that’s just the factory hood switch like hemilonestar said. It is a factory part and is not aftermarket. All it does is trigger the “hood open” warning on the gauge cluster and disables the factory remote start if the hood is open.
