I would like to share my idea for a dual battery system. I have walded steel socket which is mounted directly on inner side of frame. My battery is too big to fit in underhood so i fit it under engine, it is close to star battery additionally it is nice for center of gravity. I am afraid how I fit winch in the futer but currently i am not planning this mod. Second think what i am afraid it is dirt on connectro of battery, by i belive that skid plate will solve this problem.
Additionally, I am planning to share with you any modifications I plan to make.

If mounting a battery under the vehicle, put it in a battery box made to keep the mud, and water off the battery. Lots of AGM batteries can be mounted horizontally.

and make sure to isolate the + terminal x2 if unthinkable happens you will want the battery isolated. a rollover could smash the battery box
