I'm looking at updating my 2019 Ram Power Wagon's 17" wheels with some the Ram 2500 black 20" wheels with 35X12.5X20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and hoping someone has already tried this...
Pros and Cons???

I was thinking of upgrading mine to 20’s with 35’s but I would scratch and scar them up going off-road like I do, so I personally wouldn’t.

however, I don’t see any issue with them fitting. They should fit just fine.

Not on ram wheels but I run 35x11.5 20 nittos no problem. It is still a 65% aspect ratio and plenty of sidewall if you are not going to hardcore rock crawl. I air down to 30 psi no issues. I also like my street performance with the shorter sidewall. It is a trade but one I happily make, there are not a lot of rocks near me in SE Texas.

Maybe run 37s on 20 inch rims, but you will take a hit off road and your ride will be rough even on 35s. I would run 15” rims if I could fit them over the brakes. Being able to air down to 22 to rock crawl is nice.

Honestly for PW's the more sidewall the better I've been looking for a set of OEM Black 8 Spoke 17" for my PW or I'm going FUEL Vapor 560D's with 35x12.50 FUEL Gripper MT

I would buy a different brand of tire, my Nittos don't hold a balance very well and are crap in snow/rain. I have the Awt and they are shot at 30k miles.

Running Falken at3 on wife's truck and they just shame my Nittos for 3/4 the price...

from the stock tire to the tire I run is 1/2” difference in sidewall height. I do not know what hit I am taking off road but I like the ride just fine. I started running lower profile tires on a softer suspension back in the 90’s in the dessert and I prefer the performance. If you are a rock crawler yes, you need the side wall, go 37 on an 18 with beadlocks and sliders, if you are just general purpose off roading esp in a powerwagon with the softer suspension 1/2” of sidewall will not make a difference.

I guess that is another con then. I don’t want my wheel and tire choices to make folks think my truck doesn’t go off road. Better get you some big rubber and let people think you know what you are doing.
