Is it a functioning scoop or just for looks? If it is functioning, would you have to worry about water getting into your CAI if you went the ram air route?

It is functional. Here is a FAQ from their Website:
Q: WILL WATER GET INTO MY INTAKE WITH YOUR RAM AIR HOOD?
A. Our hoods have a built-in water management system consisting of four (4) built-in water shields to prevent water from getting in. To date, we have not had a complaint of water getting into an intake.

I love this hood, however don't dig the prep work that it requires before going on.
I have a hood that is similar in the works.

Either way, Bad Ass hood. And I'll be jealous when done

I know how you feel! When I got the Mopar Chally style hood it was done in like 3 days bc it's metal. These fiberglass hoods require a lot more prep! End pics coming soon!

did yours have a lot of prep, really? Mine had a VERY small amount, and all that was cared for in a few hours (if that).
