I have a odd thing happening, not in my Ram, but in other vehicles. When I put mp3s on a memory stick, there is a odd static sound coming from one front speaker. Does this in a stock system and in my aftermarket kenwood system, the Kenwood deck is top of line 2 years ago and is what is called the XR series now with HiRes audio. One car I put mp3s on cd and sounded fine, on usb stick static. In my Ram zero static issues. Is really confusing.

Have you tried a different USB stick?

What did you use to rip the CDs to MP3? It may be a source jitter issue.

Mp3s came from mp3million site. Some songs seem fine.

Does it do this using different inputs like FM or Bluetooth?
