Audio question-Uconnect pet peeve-help?

My audio automatically switches to media and starts playing the first song on my playlist when I plug my iPhone in to charge, interrupting whatever I may be listening to on siriusXM, CD, or radio. Is there anything I can do to make this stop? Just want it to charge only...not necessarily listen to what's on it. (I should mention my cord is pugged into the USB port inside the console). Any input is appreciated.

I think the USB in the console is a media player. You should have another place to charge your phone.
