Auto dimming mirrors

My new 21 BTS has an auto dimming rear view mirror and an auto dimming left side view mirror but the right side does not. Is that normal? I'm thinking maybe because of the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" may be the reason why it doesnt dim. Perhaps maybe. Does anyone else notice this?

on another ram forum, they discussed dimming mirrors

1 person said that his passenger side dimming mirror had turned brownish
he was going to replace the mirror glass & go with the plain mirror

The Service Writer was trying to tell him that had would have to buy a complete mirror, which is BS
They sell replacement glass in the Parts Dept.
