Auto Grill Shutters

I removed the AGS slays and ran my 2014 Ram 1500 for maths w no code or light coming up on dash. Then took truck in for annual service and ever since I keep getting the code for AGS. I clear it and w/in 24 hrs it’s right back on. How do I get this code to Stop lighting up my Dash ? It’s driving me loco.

There are several threads about this. There is a switch that can be modded . In Search box type in Active Air Shutter I just looked and there are many1 Hopefully someone who did the mod pop's in

Hunt up Jason Duria on Tuned Rams on facebook,he builds a kit to disable the grill shutters. If you're running a custom tune,your tuner should also be able to delete the code with-out Jason's kit,but if not,then Jasons delete kit is you're best option.

I've been running this one for a while without any codes with the shutter assembly completely removed. Honestly it's no different than some of the homemade setups, but it does come with some extra bits to mount the motor out of the way. I've been pleased for the $5 it cost me.

Agreed with Wild One. Get ahold of Jason Dauria on the Facebook Ram pages such as Nadodge, TunedRams & so on. He makes a very nice Billet piece that attaches to the actuator & keeps it in its operating range.
