Ok guys tons of info on this everywhere for 5.9l v8s and cummins trucks. None that I could find for v10 motors.

I found a parts truck in Houston (mostly complete drivetrain) was a flood truck same year same options only manual. My concern is what might I need to look for and make sure it has for the swap? Cost will be $700 plus me towing it back so $130-$160 in diesel. Reason for swap is the auto tranny is slipping from 2-3, and 3-4 bad, also reverse you must rev to 2000 RPM to engage, will try to adjust this before purchasing the parts truck. My truck is used as a wrecker / tow truck so the Manual tranny will help me in the long run. 20180501_134538_1525809323655.jpg 20180501_134603_1525809330031.jpg IMG_3601.jpg IMG_27721.jpg

I know I need:
Driveshaft
NV4500
Clutch pedal ASSY
Clutch Master Cylinder
Cluster for black space on PRND21
Shifter and boot
Cut floor for shifter.

I feel I am missing some things here, but let me know if I'm wrong or if you have seen this done on another forum with a v10. my Truck and donor truck are the same year 1996. Figured I can make most money back from rear axle and possibly some other parts.

Let me know thoughts either way, even if its just "YOU POOR POS PAY FOR A REBUILD"

Any and all thoughts / ideas appreciated.

You may need to use the ECM out of the manual truck, otherwise the original will be looking for transmission electronics that won't be there.
