Hi all. My driver's side window squeaking on my 2015 when I roll up or down. Anyone else have this problem and it's there a way to fix it without taking the door panel off?

Manual or electric window operation.? Weather seal(s) possibly dry causing a friction resonance as the glass moves
in either direction?
Lubrication would most likely require panel removal to access components, seal replacement as well.

IMO may be the window motor going bad ?
You may have to remove door panel to see what is dragging and what can be lube up ?
PLEASE UPDATE us what you do find out
Thanks

Simplest thing you can try, has fixed many squeaks and a lot of slow to roll up driver side windows. Roll window all the way down, take a cloth with a bunch of silicone spray lube on it and clean both the inside and outside window seals really well. Now spray both seals with silicone. I now do this annually to all windows on my vehicles. It is amazing how much better they work.

Vacuum the window felts with a good quality vacuum, and if you have access to an air compressor also doesn't hurt to blow the felts out with some air, before you hit them with silicone spray.

Yep, silicone spray in the tracks (after you look for any debris / buildup and clean) works best - I do it every spring as part of my preventative maintenance program.
So here's something. We had tons of rain this weekend and the squeaking is gone (I'm sure it's going to return).

When you say "in the tracks", can I see the tracks with window rolled all the way down and not taking the door apart? I have silicone wd40. Will that do?

Thanks,
Tonino

Yes it'll work. The window tracks everybody is referring to,are the ones that the window slides up and down in when it goes up into the door frame, and down inside the door, when you roll them down. Vacuum them out first, and if you can ,it also doesn't hurt to blow them out with an air compressor,so you get the majority of dirt/grim out of them before spraying them with your WD 40 silicone lube, otherwise you're just lubing dirt particles

That's the exact same silicone spray I use ;)
The channels that the window is in; those are the tracks to lube up.

With the windows down and with the little red extender tube thingy inserted into the spray nozzle, give pulse shots of the silicone as you're going down the tracks.

Then roll the windows up and down several times to work the product. You'll see that your windows are moving quicker and with no drag.

This is also a great product to soak a microfiber cloth with and rub all the door seals, as well as rub the outer door sill rubber pieces, too.

And, if one has a sunroof, thoroughly rub the glass rubber seal as well.

Keeps everything supple and from the elements fully drying them out.
