Hi -
Been trawling the internet to try and find out some information on the VP2 radio, (52 pin connector) and I was led here where it appears the members are rather knowledgeable about retrofitting parts to the installed radio (In car apple TV anyone..)
Anyway, I have a fiat boxer (RAM Promaster) with a VP2 radio which I would like to retro fit an aux port to for the Carplay device I have. I have aquired the box required (USB port, aux in port) andhave deciphered the pinouts to a certain extent.
My question is regarding the "DET in" pin. on older models you simply looped the DET out and DET in together, but every pinout I come across there is no DET out. The module I have for connecting the aux lead to has 6 wires. Red, white, green and black, and 2 additional wires, Yellow and black. Im hoping someone who has done something simialar can identify what connects to what.
Thanks in advance
Boxer
