Axles, HELP!!!!!!

So I'm getting ready to sell my ram. And I need a driver side axle for the 4x4 to work. Only one junkyard in tn has one and after 6 hours trying to get this freakin axle nut off ,and breaking a few windshields and kicking dents in the body I still cant get it off. anywho, Is the passenger axle the same? Not the whole part but the first part of it that goes in the coupling for the vac disco. And does anyone have input on removin the axle nut? Yes I have a 1 11/16 12 point, Yeah I've used 3 different breaker bars with pipe on the end for my leverage. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of penetrating oil. Mine was rusted on, I had to pop the center cap out of my wheel and put the wheel back on so I could use the whole weight of the truck as leverage. Ended up snapping my 1/2" drive 18 inch long breaker bar with a 2 ft cheater pipe. Upgraded to a 3/4" drive breaker bar and the same pipe and was able to bust it lose that way. Do not hit the end of the axle with a hammer! You will squash the threads and have a hell of a time getting the hub nut off even after you break it free.

The outer axle stub shafts are the same on both sides in most cases (I have seen a few with reverse threads), the inner shafts off the stub shafts have different splines. So they cannot be swapped side for side.

I didn't bother going back I just spent the $65 and bought one off car-parts.com So it'll be here in a few days.
