Well a few weeks ago I traded my 2024 3500 Laramie in on this lower milage 2018 1500 BigHorn. This is my 10th Ram over the years but aside for 2 other 1500s they have always been Cummins powered 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. So I may be new to the site, but not to Rams. I decided to "downgrade" because I was no longer using my truck for work and really only using it to drive the 15 minutes to and from work... it made zero sense to be paying what I was for the lack of miles I was driving and how I wasn't using it for truck things. So far I'm actually really happy with this 1500.

I've got a 2015 RAM 1500 4x4 Tradesman and like it a lot. I bought it 5 years ago with 153k miles on it and it is now pushing 227k miles. This was a fleet vehicle from Texas and it had records of everything done to it.

Oil changes are done when the color starts to change (depends on usage too) and it runs very good. No leaks or cold start smoking. One if things that I've learned over the years is that my bare bones trucks don't have near the problems as a truck that has all of the gadgets and electronics.
