Getting my 6th German Shepherd puppy next month after losing my last one to cancer last month. I trained my last one to ride in the bed of the truck but not sure if I'm going to train this one the same. What do the members use here to cart their canine family members around that offers good protection?

I just have a blanket laid down on the flat floor in my truck but I bought the Duluth trading seat cover for my accord and it is very durable and well made.

I’ve tried all the solutions in varying price ranges over the years, and finally decided a $10 blanket from Walmart does as good as anything. I cut a couple of holes so the seatbelt receivers stick through and people can sit as well. A couple of little clips like campers use for pulling tarp edges hold it up around the headrests.

I like it because it’s easier to clean. Pull it out in ten seconds and run it through the washer and dryer with the laundry.

This one has been a game changer for us. Our dog wasn't so great with car rides prior to getting this but has been great ever since using this. Keeps her hair contained back there pretty good too, and we use it in both my truck and my GF's car so fairly versatile too. We did order for her car originally so it's a little bit smaller in my truck but still works just fine.

I have this one in my Ram and works well and we also have the smaller one for our Pacifica.
Harbor Freight quilted moving blankets are under $10 and also provide great protection.
