I fold the seat up and have a platform that gives them level place to stand or lay.

Loved that feature in my 1500 and didn't care if the fold flat floor got dirty. The mega cab seats don't fold up they do fold down but don't think that's the best option.

Thought of that, seems like there is no way it would stay put though. Do you have trouble with it sliding around and off the seat?
I use a painters drop cloth and cut holes in it for the posts of the headrests to go through. Turn your headrest around backwards and you don't have to fight the height adjustment retainers.

I was going to do this temporarily until it warmed up to attach it to the seat back using tarp clamps and bungee cords. 2 running length wise across the back for the side to side and then 2 short bungees around the headrest posts. Then I saw the seat backs collect very lil hair if at all and . I take about 4" and tuck it between the seat crack. Still going to use the clamps for the bottom, but again when it gets warm. The clamps are also avail at WallyWorld.

My truck didn’t come with the fold flat floor, I made my own.
