Backup Camera 2014 Ram Sport

Not something I'm used to seeing ex in the Wife's cars. Nice, but not really necessary for me. Looking at the screen with everything else, it is normal. The backup view looks like an overexposed photograph - viewable and usable but washed out. Camera? Other issue? I'm on a path to getting this truck exactly the way I want it. Don't know if I will bother with this issue but I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

My wife has insisted on back-up cams in the last several cars we’ve bought for her.
It is just about guaranteed 99.98% chance , that within two months she will be in a collision while reversing.
This happens in every car ! Fml.
She mentioned a few weeks back that she would like if my truck had a camera it would make her more comfortable ,when she drives it . It is not gonna happen .

After the Third-Time she backed into someone,….I bought and installed a bumper-sticker on the back of my wife’s car which said:

“IF YOU CAN READ THIS…..you are parked in the wrong place!”

It was a full month before she noticed it, and even then because someonw asked her about it.

One more attempt - any easy / cheap fix for the washed out / overexposed look on screen for the back up camera?

try to mess with your settings if that does not work you most likely need a new camera mine is clear on my 2014 they are easy to change buy the part yourself and swap it.
