Backup LED lights out message

I installed a pair of LASFIT 921 LEDs as backup lights in my 2014. I put 50w 6Ohm resisters across the wires, but still receive the "Backup light out" dash message when starting.

Is there some other CANBUS requirement I'm not aware of?

With the lasfit 921s you shouldn't need the resistors ... take them off and see if they work ...

That’s what I had thought. Put them in, got the message. I then added the resistors with no change.

Right now I’m ignoring the 5 second message, but sure would like to eliminate it.

I just did mine this weekend with no problems

I know this is old, but I just put some in my 2013 Sport this weekend and took them right out. Bulbs were brighter but so big they blocked the reflector puts all the light to the ground at the bumper. Went back to the stock bulbs... Wondering what you ended up doing with yours?

About a year ago I tied "diesel LED lights" they were super bright worked but had interference lines in my rear backup camera. So those were sent back...

I did change all my front lights to Lasfit LEDs and they work great!
