Bad cat?

Trying to figure out if my converter is bad, truck will not accelerate up to speed, is overheating, got a whistle from my exhaust- which seems to not be free flowing at all; and under no load- sitting in park or neutral, truck won't run up past about 2800-3000 rpm, then dies back down.
Thoughts?

Pull the before cat O2 sensors out of the pipes. If it runs better with an extra 1/2” hole to exhale through, cat is junk.

Could not get that O2 sensor to budge... so.... I did a bad thing.
Let us all agree that a clogged cat is a bad cat.
And a sawzall is your best friend...

Definitely sounds like a clogged cat.

An alternative diagnostic test is to let the engine reach full operating temperature, then shift the transmission to neutral and step on the gas. If the engine will not rev past 3,000 RPM, either the cat's plugged, or someone stuffed a banana in the tailpipe.

I think my cat is clogged I've noticed loss of power especially up hills and at wot,seems like the more gas I give the less power I have.
