Badge question

I plan on taking the ram 1500 badge off and plasti dipping it black, should i leave the glue left behind from the badges on the truck or take it all off and start fresh with new glue or tape?

You dont have to take it off to plastidip it
Tape off a square around the bade, spray it and peel the plastidip from the paint
Because the badge is slightly raised itll pull off from the paint but not the badge

what would i use to get the paint out from in between the letters and from the tighter sections i cant use my hand?

toothpick, I break one end off so its blunt
Use the pointed end to get under it, the blunt end to peel it away
The sooner you do it after it is dry the easier it is to remove, once it cures it can be difficult

I just did it and used the toothpick and it worked great. It peeled it up nicely and got all the paint out from in between the letters and numbers, ill post pictures soon!
