So, I purchased led concepts halos and diode dynamics led boards. Put the headlight in the oven multiple times and could not get that sucker open. Has anyone had trouble trying to get these open. Did not see any screws on the back housing holding them together. Might just send them to Jeremy at retroshop and have them put together if I can't get apart .

I ran the tyc projectors in the oven at 275 for 15 minutes. Dug and pried till they cooled. Then repeated for another 10 minutes in the oven. I would highly suggest sending it all to Jeremy. He is very skilled and has great customer service.

Yeah it sucks, I doubt I'll bake another set again haha but once you get it started you're golden. Like the said once you get one of the inside corners that butt up to the grille you'll be home free from there. I think I rebaked them 5 times each to get mine apart.

Same. Baked mine for like 17min first time and then 10min a few times at around 275. It was not fun but eventually did get them open. Worst part was getting all the old permaseal off the headlight to reassemble. I highly recommend putting FXR projectors if your opening them up anyways. They are like $200 for the kit with bulbs. Light output is wider and clean cutoff but I think distance is lost slightly due to a less intense hotspot compared to the halogens with HIDs but that's bc they aren't as wide beam wise.
