Hi,
I have a 2015 ram 3.6,and it is really hard to get jumper cables on the +.My brother has a 2017 Ram 3.6 and it has a clip that is bolted on to the + terminal that goes above the terminal so it is easy to get jumpers on.I talked to parts department and they don't have a part number for it.I would like to get one and bolt it on my +.Does any one have any info on this? Thanks.

@oterski I don't think that clip is a factory part, something aftermarket try check your local auto parts stores
Is that picture possibly from an EcoDiesel? I don't think either gasser uses that triple Z-Case fuse tree. One of those fuses goes to a 850 watt PWM fan that only the EcoDiesel used until 2019

My 17/6.4 has the sheet metal tab above the positive terminal to attach to. Factory piece. Should be available I'd think. Looks like it just slips behind the bolt head on the terminal to clamp it to the positive battery post

Yes it does just bolt right in.I went to two different Ram dealers, and they couldn't find the part(I brought them the picture that I sent here).I also went to all the local auto parts store with the picture, and the same no go.Thanks.

This also has the part # in the listing

Thanks Jawzs,
I live in AZ.and we go through batteries quite often out here with no warning. It will start at home, and you go up town for a few minutes and it's dead.No slow crank at first or anything.
Thanks again.

That's kind of a nice idea for terminals. Wow, look at all the fuses downstream of the + terminal!! LOL ..But how often do you really jump-start other vehicles?

Why not just buy the ebay one? I doubt the dealer would be a whole lot cheaper. Then you need to figure out a good crimping method. I don't jump start often enough to make it worth the effort, for me, but I can see where it would come in real handy for some.

A guy could probably (unhook) and tack-weld a piece of 16ga steel on his own clamps in 15min for no cost. It would burn off a little bit of the 'tinning' ..but probably only in the weld area.

When i am on a job that takes me East out into the desert, or North up into general Los Angeles area, i just take my Jump Box with me.
I won't use my Ram to jump any one.
I always have at least one set of Heavy Duty Jump Cables in my tool box.

One thing that i have noticed more & more ..
Some people are putting a Copper Bolt or Stud in the area of the drivers side headlight, on the radiator shroud.
When jumping someone, they place the Ground Cable on that, instead of using the Negative Battery Post or the Vehicles Frame
