Need to find something that will keep small items from flying around. I.e. if i go grocery shopping and have a few bags i want to keep back there, i need to find a small net or similar to keep everything up against the tailgate..

What is everyone using?

Similar to some of the things seen here.. Curious if anyone is using any of this gear.. and if any of the site vendors have something similar.

I have two milk crates tie into the back corners of my bed. They work great for just about anything.

I use my bed extender and have 2 crates to hold things in and it always stays near to the the tailgate.

I have a net... NO idea where I got it, but I believe it was given to me. With the RamBox system, I should be able to use it. I'll stick it in the truck for when I need it. I've had it for probably 6-7 years.

The RamBox system has a pretty slick bed divider. Too bad they don't have one for the standard bed.

:)

On my last truck, I used a couple of big Rubbermaid containers with a bar to keep them from sliding forward underneath my tonneau cover. They worked great for Wal Mart, grocery trips, etc. When you arrived home, you just grabbed the containers and carried everything inside.

Walmart has like a tension rod thing for truck beds. It works awesome and it was only like $16 or so.

Freaking genius.. this with the walmart tension bar and i'm done. PERFECT. Thanks!

This is what i wanted to do originally.. but its the only thing i would use the bed extender for.. just seemed overkill for me.. but, its the perfect setup.

For my last three trucks I take a 2x10 or 2x8, cut it to size so it fits in the cutouts in the bed and that's it. You would be absolutely amazed at how may things fit perfectly between it and the tailgate. Of course, I went a bit nuts and put three coats of marine varnish on it so it looks good. Total cost about $12. Perfect.

Apparently some of the cheaper ratcheting cargo bars rust really bad. I read some reviews online. Something to think about if you don't have a tonneau cover, especially for those of us in rainy humid areas.

I use my old Army footlocker tied in place with bungee cord... After reading the post, I too will be going to Wal Mart for a $19.00 tension bar. Haha

Was thinking about getting a 2x12 for my truck bed, but would want to paint it or something. Anyone have luck with the spray can bed liner stuff on wood?

I use an army plastic footlocker that i use in Iraq w/ bungee cord to keep in place. But will replace the bungee cord with extension bar.

I believe the factory plastic bed liners have slots to put 2x4 into the keep things from sliding
My dad and brother have a bars that twist to adjust (like turnbuckles) I believe they are from harbor freight
My dads a milk man too so he always has a couple milk crates in the back

I don't think the 2x10 will leave enough room for the tubberwares I'd like to get. I may go tension bar route.. Need to find one.
