Bed from a 2019 RAM 1500 on a 2019 RAM 3500?

Hello!

So I found this great deal on a used bed.
It is an 8 foot bed from a RAM 1500 2019 and I am wondering if it is the same as a an 8 foot bed from a heavy duty RAM 2019?

I have a long term dream to convert my 3500 Limitied Mega cab 2019 to a long bed, so was planning to buy the bed for the future rebuild.

If it's an 8' bed then it came off a 2019 Classic 1500, that truck went down the same assembly line as your. Your '19 may have the electronic tailgate release, the Classic uses an mechanical. It maybe possible to swap them.

There's actually a company that stretches MegaCabs to have an 8' bed.

I know you guys on the other side of the pond have companies that do it but there isnt any here in Sweden where I live.
Sooo will have to do it myself
