Bed Swap Question

Hello- I have a 2011 Quad Cab 3500 2 WD Dually, long bed. Will a long bed from a 2018 4x4 regular cab dually fit? Per the dealer, there is no part # for the bed. The bedsides are the same part #. Thanks, Mike

If they are both long bed (8ft) dually's, I don't see why they wouldn't unless, unless there was a change in the way they mount to the frame.

What he ^^ said. Get a measuring tape, sort out where the frame connection points are located (seriously - get out a measuring tape, a speed square, and draw a map of them with all relevant measurements), and then go do the same measurements on the 2018 bed. If they match - golden!

Also, are the wheel well widths the same? If your tires fit snug under your current bed and you got fat wheels, but the new bed is narrower in that department, then you're gonna stick out a bit, which may or may not be a problem with your local highway constabulary.
