Hello everyone look for some help on a bed topper I’m looking to purchase one that is from a 2019 Ram 2500 6.4ft bed I currently have a 2017 Ram 3500 SRW short bed 6.4ft. Is there any difference that won’t allow me to get this topper to fit. Thanks in advance

nope, the 6.4' bed should be the same on both trucks and even a Gen4 1500.
Attached is the dimensions for the '19 bed, note that it's still refered to as a DS body

The one difference is where the Front of the topper meets the cab. Quad cabs are different than crew cabs. Also 2017 to 2019 there are slight differences to quad over quad, and crew over crew. That shape is a bit different but with a little careful maneuvering the Canopy will fit right on.

Quad cab topper on a Crew cab, notice the larger gap at the top. If you try to put a Crew cab topper on a Quad cab you may end up being a tad to close to the top of the cab.

Crew cab topper on a crew cab (2021 2500 Laramie), notice how much more forward curving the crew cab back window is compared to the Quad cab more straight up and down.

This thread should help. I fixed the above comment, I had quad and crew reversed.

not sure how going the other way will be but I sure have seen a lot of earlier ones being put on 19 and up that look funky where the cab lines up with the topper..they fit but they just look funny.

There is no Quad Cab offered in the HD trucks, only Regular, Crew, and Mega Cabs. The '19 HD trucks are still using DS bodies, it's the 1500 Gen5 DT bodies that are different.

That is true as of now, no quad cab in hd. That is what i posted earlier in the link i attached that i wrote about finding a topper for my 2500 long box. That said, I am not entirely clear what the topper is coming off of in ter.s of was it a crew cab or a mega cab and is what it is going on the exact same cab, so figured i would cover all the bases.
