Can't find the answer to this anywhere. Are the bedpan bolts tty and what is the torque specs on them? Some are saying the 10 interior bolts are 40 ft lbs but all data online is saying 25 in lbs with a 90 degree rotation.

Looking at things online i guess it could be called a bellypan or girdle. It is the piece the oil pan bolts too and then it bolts to the engine block.

Why would you think they would be torque to yield? Not many bolts are made like that.

You're still not making any sense, are you referring to the windage tray, that goes between the oilpan and block.Use the picture in post #4 to point out what piece you're referring to.

Edit: just noticed you have a 4.7,would help if you said that.Find a pic of the 4.7's oiling system, then use it to point out what you're talking about.

You're also in the 5th Gen section, you should be posting in the 3rd Gen section if you have an 03,with a 4.7

You list your truck as a 2003 with the 4.7L engine yet you asked this question in the 5th gen engine/performance forum. Can you be more specific on which truck year/engine you're asking about?

Helps if you add more information to your posts. You're in the 5th Gen section,so most of us assumed you were either referring to a 5.7 or 6.4,as they quit putting 4.7's in the 1500's way back in 2013.
Next time be specific, don't assume we're going to know :Big Laugh:

If you're referring to bed plate, this is out of the shop manual for the bed plate in a 2009 4.7, no idea if they are the same.
