I plan on hitting the road in a couple weeks, and the pulley on the belt tensioner has started to squeak.
I applied a bit of WD40 to it and it quit, but I'm considering changing it out before leave.
It looks to me like a plain run of the mill tensioner, but on Rock Auto, they only seem to list OEM as a fit, and they run 3 times as much as any other listed for the 5.7.
Does anybody here know if it is acctualy a differant part?
As well, can the idler pulley on the hydrolic torsioner of the belt drive be replaced alon or only as a complete assembly with the hydrolic tensioner assembly?
Again, there RA shows two differant pulleys but I'm not sure if either will fit it.
TIA for any assistance.
