Anyone have a preference on air bags for the back of a 2010 Big Horn 1500? Looking to add a little assist for towing my 28' travel trailer.

Any help would be great. Looking for good quality and easy install as I will do it myself.

Thanks,
Z

I was NOT a fan of air, but the Airlift 1000s have impressed me, and have been quite reliable. Cheap, too.

Thanks for the info guys. Think I'm going to go with the Air Lift 1000's. Lots of good rep from everyone and they are made in my home state to boot.

Yep, can't beat the airlifts for the price.

There are a few kits out there that replace the coils with a dedicated airbag that are far superior to the airlifts, but they also cost thousands of dollars.

I have the Air Lift 1000's with Air Lift Wireless One System installed in my truck. I couldn't be happier with the ease of adjustment and overall performance. I did have an issue with a relay going out on the Wireless One System, but Air Lift sent me out a replacement at no cost. Great customer service.

I was not a fan of those clips they give you to put on those things, holy hell. But they work. Have the Airlift 1000's, they help, but only to a point.

Spend the extra $100 and get the airlift 5000 bags man! if they were out when I bought my airbags I would have bought them!

The airlift 1000 make a good difference over stock but with a travel trailer they still squat right down. Well mine does anyway. They level probably 500 lbs on the hitch and after that it's all squat.

I'm happy with mine for all my other trailers, just not when towing an RV

For about the same money why not just upgrade the rear coils?
Dodge Products

These are variable rate so the truck still rides good unloaded, but give increase support when you need it. They don't cost much more than air bags and they won't leak on you. Similar to what the jeep rubicons use. Easy enough to install.
