Man i just did my giant rear emblem with dental floss, wd40 and iso alcohol

Dunno why you would need a specific cleaner? The sticky crap comes right off for me, literally a few wipes and its gone....

Just what I did as well works easy.

My truck is a 2010 so the emblems were very hard to get off. I used s heat gun to remove the badges, and there was a ton of adhesive left on the paint. I had to scrape with my finger nails even with the 3M.

You're definitely right about the 3m. Started on one side, used everything but drano lol. I had a heat gun to keep adhesive warm and a PLASTIC razor scraper to remove most. But nothing except a elec buffer, some mild buffing comp then waxed touched the last little bit of outline till i got the 3m.
Finished yesterday.
Added some grill led's, an tailgate assist while i was at it.

My go to is a heat gun. And all natural lemon or any citrus essential oil. Yes it works and works great. My wife didn’t love the fact I used a whole bottle of it but hey. That’s what hat she gets for marrying me lol

I won't be removing any badges off my Ram, but I've lost count of emblems I've removed over the years ... Including dealer-added nonsense. My recipe is pretty simple > A hair dryer, Goo Gone or WD-40, enough time to do it without being rushed. I have also used fishing line a time or three on ones that had been on a while. always feels good to finish with a wash and wax.
