My co-worker did that to his Ram. Said you needed a 6' cable. He had to unscrew the plastic cover pieces on the bottom of both parts of the console. When you open his console all you see is his USB plug. The wire feeds in right below it. It comes back out just below where the phone sits. Another one of those things I'll get to eventually. The phone cable hanging out of the side of the console from the USB port kind of annoys me. Has anyone drilled a series of holes through the console in a manner where the wire comes out below the cell phone cradle, all nice and neat?

Cool idea!
Finally took the time to install a DeeZee assist on my replacement truck. Hands down the best $25 mod.
Same story here...Did that to mine too. The part that goes into the tailgate worked loose and became damaged after a few years. Replaced it a couple years ago and has held up well.
Bought the truck Friday nite. Added a Husky Quest Brake Control $97; and a Tekonsha harness $21. Got home, reached under the dash and pulled out 2 connectors, one fit the harness, plugged it in and mounted it.
Bought my truck a few weeks ago, then I found this thread.
Found a cabin air filter door on a junkyard truck. That plus the rubber cup holder inserts that were missing on my truck cost me $10
K&N cabin air filter, about $40.
Wadestar phone holder for the center console was $20
LED map light replacement 10 pack for $12
AlfaOBD - $50 (already had the OBDlink) I actually bought this for my last truck, to enable the trailer brake controller, but have enabled DRL reduced the park assist volume, and adjusted my tire pressure thresholds on my current truck. Also plan to buy a second fob and program it myself with this app.
Tailgate assist is in my amazon list, but I haven't bought it yet.
Can't think of any other <$100 stuff on my list at the moment, but I keep watching this thread for ideas.
I can get one. It'll have to be a week from now as he just left and I'll be out for a week for a vacation.Do you have a picture?
Thanks and greetings,
Erik.

I love the look of it lit up but with my truck I like the chrome ram. Do they make a chrome look version?
