I'm considering getting a lockpick. For those of you that have installed one, where did you mount the unit itself?

I currently have an aftermarket rear camera in the tailgate handle that displays in my rearview mirror. I'm thinking about the lockpick so I can display it on my 430 RBZ instead and also add a front camera.

Thanks!

i dont think the harnesses that come with it are long enough to place it else where.

A lockpic unlocks the radios functions that are usually locked out while in motion (nav inputs, b/u cam, if you had dvd being able to watch while in motion). gives you video inputs.

However for the '13 the lockpic is not out yet.

I just installed mine, and I didn't "mount" it at all. I hooked it up to the radio and just laid it in a void below the radio.

Thanks! Still trying to decide whether to get the Lockpick or save the $200-$250 and use my mirror display with a switch.
I like the convenience idea of the front camera displaying automatically under 8 mph like the lockpick would do.
