What’s the best side steps for a 2019 Ram 2500 crew cab? And will previous years fit? Would also like to see pictures of yours. Thanks!

I put on some mopar part number 82213273AD which are exactly like the ones that come from the factory when ordered as an option. They are a nice step very simple to install. I think earlier ones back to at least 2013 will fit or at least these particular ones say fit between 2013 and 2020.EAC4B120-0F8A-4DD4-AC6A-1147DED294A6.jpeg

I have the factory installed side steps and love them. I couldn't get in the truck easily without them.

I've used NFab step bars on my last three Ram 2500 trucks. The 2500 platform is a bit taller. They are sturdy, well made bars that don't rattle. Just get the textured surface vs. the painted surface option.

Here's what they look like:

2007 MegaCan - the stock steps were sucked up close to the cab sills and they were narrow. Getting in and out with work boots on was a bit sketchy.

2014 Big Horn - Had the same issue with the side steps that came on this truck. I liked the look but getting in and out sucked, especially in wet, muddy or snowy conditions.

2017 Laramie 2500 - Again, the OEM units were not to my liking so I tried a different NFab step bar model. They work great except I got the painted option. That was a mistake. Rocks and other debris have chipped them up some, especially over this last trip from Arizona to Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, & New Mexico. I will be removing these, prepping them and applying bed liner.

I didn't want any at all but I got tired of waiting for my 7yo to climb in and out. No off-roading with these but they have a good drop which is exactly what I was looking for. I have started to use them sometimes too which will probably save my seat cushion...

Anybody try out these steelcraft HD sidebars yet? They come in a wheel to wheel, part number 85-22590.

I have the factory power step. Far and away the best steps I have ever had. I don't need rock sliders, just a way to get in and out easily. I am 5'8" with a 30" inseam sothe door sill on my 2500 is crotch high, which makes it very hard to get into without steps. The powder steps cut the distance literately in half.
