Hey ewc88. I too am from sj. Yeah it's been rediculous. Where did you find some washes that do undercarriage??

Where about in SJ are ya?

Two places that I found that do the undercarriage is White Glove ( they have couple locations, closest to me is on black horse pike, almost across from Whitman diner) and the other place is Auto Sheen I believe it's called. That one is located on the "old" black horse pike in blackwood just a little down the road past the fish/tackle place on left side if heading into blackwood.

Each place have different prices. I think I recall auto sheens top wash package was $18 and it included A LOT. But they both have websites that you can check out prices and what packages include what. If you didn't want top wash package they had cheaper ones that still did undercarriage.

Not kidding lol snow starts to fall late September and usually lasts until March. Hell I think it was 2010 when we had a blizzard in July 4" of snow lol not even lying. Back in April 96 or 97 we had 4 feet of snow dumped on us. Hard to remember as I was only 6 or 7 back then lol. You guys don't even need salt; it's bad for vehicles, it melts the snow which falls into cracks on the pavement and refreezes which makes bigger cracks, and creates a false sense of security on the road. We just use sand here in ND for traction at intersections.

Edit: I'd kill to have weather in the teens! Wind chill here got to -60 this winter. BRRRRR

Cool thanks ewc88. I'm in pine hill. Used to be a white glove on blackwood Clementon rd I think. Not sure if it's still the same place.

Yea I agree, here in Oregon we don't need salt. However the reason they must put it on our roads are for the people who moved here from out of State where they have no snow. :banghead:

I'm in NY. Finally had good weather so I decided to thoroughly rinse the under carriage because I know my old man didn't do it while he owned it and who knows the last time it's been done. If ever.

I must've rinsed out a 5 gallon buckets worth of sand from underneath and between the bed panels. Maybe that'll retard the rusting over my wheel wells. Probably not but it makes me feel better.

I use a touchless car wash during the winter months. (Only during the winter months. I always wash the truck by hand when the weather is good.) I make sure I always use the undercarriage wash as well.
Currently watching the weather reports to see if we are going to get any snow on Monday. If not, I will be there tomorrow getting the Ram washed. :****:

Yea not sure. I use to go to white glove when I had a car, but not with the ram. I think I am going try auto sheen this time. I have ward great things about them and prices beat white glove.

Even though we just got snow AGAIN I'm going to self wash tonight to blast everything because my truck will be parked on my driveway for two weeks due to surgery so nothing will be harming it, and atleast it'll look pretty again.

What a great idea!
Went through the touch-less today which also does the undercarriage for a buck more.
