Yes,lots of us drag racers pull the seat/s on a weekly basis. It'll turn on an airbag light while driving it,but as soon as you put the seat/s back in,it goes out,if you don't drive it,it won't even do that. Can I remove the center seat for my 2018 ram without messing up the airbags? I want to permanently install a homemade console to hold my lunch box and such.
Is there even any airbag sensors in the center seat/console? If there is im guessing @Bigleroy pull the seat sensor out and plug it in so the airbag light isn't on.Yes,lots of us drag racers pull the seat/s on a weekly basis.
As far as i know, there's no sensors in the console,at least none i've ever seen on my 14,might be differant in the later trucks with the center seat, but i doubt it.Is there even any airbag sensors in the center seat/console? Lets see some pics!Well folks, I removed the center seat and found that there are not weight sensors. The only wiring there is for phone charging. Built my box to hold my lunch box and water jug and everything works just fine. Thanks again for the help. Hopefully my experience helps someone else
