Bil 5100 install , where the washer go ?

After watching several install videos I have seen the washer that comes with the 5100 installed under the strut nut and on strut BEFORE reassemble of strut spring . The instructions are not real clear on this .

So , where does the washer supplied by Bilstein go exactly ? Before reassemble or under the new nut on top ?

It says on top of bump stop under the nut. I'll upload a pic of it right now

Before the strut mount goes on you install the washer because the shaft can go through the strut mount without the washer on. Do no put the washer on top of the strut mount because it will pull the shaft through the strut mount.

Good news , The whole thing comes apart easy the second time around . LOL And quicker too .

^^This, the washer goes on before the top mount, it never touches the nut
