Anyone use 1 of these to lift the front of a 2019 2500 Laramie. Could get 1 for 558.00 bucks and was wondering if it would be a good deal. Thanks.

I do not know of anyone using it, but it would have to be a way better setup than just a typical spacer and shock extension kit...and really not a ton more money.

I say try it and reply back with the results!

Waiting on delivery. Not really feeling the shock extension and spacer.

Installed the kit this morning. Not bad job to do in a couple hours. Also installed adjustable track bar and had to move the axle to the passenger side by a 1 1/2. Then had to adjust the steering wheel by a half a turn. Very easy to adjust steering wheel. Next up is an alignment and we should be good. Kit was on sale for 600 bucks. Not bad for what you get. Adjustable track bar was 220.00.

Out with the old.

That looks good!

I just looked up the Rough Country track bar. Looks really interesting. Like the price and the fact it still uses rubber bushings. What are your thoughts on it?

Only one I know of that you can adjust on the vehicle. Adjusted mine twice after the lift and if you had to take it off each time that would really suck.

I know this is an old post but just installed the 5162 on my truck with rear 5160 reservoir shocks also. I will say I was shocked on how much better it feels. I also installed a Carli adjustable track bar. I thought the Bilstein factory shocks did good until I installed these. Going to hook up the 5th wheel tomorrow and test it out.

What did you think of this set up when towing? Overall thoughts on this system?

I haven't got a chance to test it towing yet. I had an emergency at work and had to fly out. I'll post an update when I get a chance.

Tested with towing the camper now. It definitely makes a difference. Camper before would bounce when hitting dips in the round. Although it still bounces it tends to be smoother more controlled now. I think the shocks before would heat up thus losing their viscosity of the fluid causing the shocks to lose their restriction. I think with the new reservoir shocks the fluid stays cooler keeping their performance. Just my opinion. I also have Firestone airbags installed.
