Has anyone set there height to 2.8" and not needed a rear coil spacer? According to my measurements on flat ground from ground to middle of wheel well my front sits just under 3" lower then the rear. I was anticipating needing a 3/4" spacer for the back. But they say math doesn't lie. Any insight would be appreciated.

It's all a matter of preference. Some like even, some like rake, some like slightly nose-high.

I prefer rake, that's why I set mine at 2.1 with no rear spacer.

My front is at 2.8 no rear spacer. I bought a leveling kit, not a slightly less front heavy looking kit. Thats my preference though. As stated above everyone has their preference.

Every truck is going to probably have slightly different measurements anyway.

They add the spacer, so when they toss something into the bed of the truck, it does not squat like a small dog.

If you never use the truck, for anything but driving, then do not worry about it.

Have your wife sit on the tailgate and see how much your fender height drops.
that is the reason for some leaving a little rake.

That smooth ride is on account of soft springs.
