I am attempting to change the differential on my 2012 RAM 1500. I could not find anything hex, star, socket wrench that would fit the plugs. I stopped by Dodge and they looked at it and told me it requires an Allen Wrench. A BIG allen wrench. Does anyone know what size it requires or a suitable alternate to remove the plugs?

Thanks
Mark

Are you sure the end of a standard socket wrench doesn't fit?

Try a 1/2 inch drive or 3/4 inch drive?

Nope, neither. It is definitely more of a hex shape.
