Sent him a PM this morning. One way or another we'll see if we can make this easier on everyone. I think these would look awesome on my truck and I was thinking about blacking out emblems and rims and stuff soon anyway.

Haha good call. I saw the pic of the OPs truck and they just looked so much darker than mine, but then again he also had them on a white truck.

No those are the OEM projector headlights. They don't work on Rams that came with Dual or Quad headlights from the factory.

The only way to get those lights to work (the ones in the link you posted) on a truck with Dual or Quad headlights is to buy an adapter harness from JJ at RetroShop.

The headlights that were originally for sale in this post, are Black Housing Quad Style headlights. The image you posted (I'm assuming that's your truck) are not the same lights. Your lights are the OEM Projector Style Headlights.

The reason they might seem darker than yours is because they are completely different style of headlight lol.

If you ever decide to buy aftermarket headlights, PM me and I'll take those oem projectors off your hands [emoji16]

I was answering this post....

The OP's headlights are Quads.... ss12108 posted a link to oem projectors and said the OP's lights (quads) seemed darker then his lights (projectors).

I dunno.... Maybe I missed something but it seemed to me that ss12108 thought the lights that were originally for sale (quads) were the same style that he had on his truck (projectors).... again I must be reading something wrong or whatever. I dunno... I'm super tired right now. Only got 3 hours of sleep last night lol.

Thank goodness for the honesty of the members of this forum...that's why I love this place! I'll be keeping what I've got...you're right it was probably the angle of both photos that had me confused since I'm also not standing in front of my truck at the moment haha.

All makes sense now...definitely had no clue about the differences in the headlights. I read some sections of the forum and my eyes go crossed. I imagine its the same thing that would happen if a lot of the mechanics on here read some of the stuff I handle on a daily basis with taxes and accounting haha

Another option if you do not mind the lights being aftermarket, there is a well known company called Depo that makes replica oem lights. They are almost as good as OEM, but half the price.

You can find the Blacked Out Quads on eBay for around $120 shipped.

Just wanted to let you know of another, cheaper, non-oem option.
