I think I will try it and see. Just called a few places earlier today and they said at least $100 to get the info off.

thats crazy, teach a hundo, dont you have a pc tech at the school you work at maybe a "favor" is in order....where i goto to school other students bring in whats broke and the pc geeks have free roam to get it fixed or salvage things on it and it doesnt cost us anything other than a tip or paid back favors....

Lol, we have two techs. Why two you ask? Because between the two of them they have a combined IQ of about 80. They are the definition of useless.
